I have got my new maid again today! She is one year younger than me, according to the agent, this maid is come from a poor village and she has 2 sons, 4 years old and 1 year old respectively.
She looks tan and thin, like a body deprived nourishment. And her Mandarin intonation is weird too, some words are quite hard too get comprended.
I didn’t really like to hire her, It actually had few maids there for me to choose, but since my man said this lady looked pretty decent and acceptable so off I chose her. She has been with us for 2 days, so far her performance is okay, at least she is much more smarter than my previous maids.
I hope this is my last maid and no more maid changing in the future. Honestly I so fed up for changing maid again and again.

I did not have luck in hiring a good maid! The previous maid and the current maid are all sucks! Having said that, the previous one is definitely better than the current one, and my kids love the previous maid more than the current one too. But what to do since the maid prefers to stay in her home town rather than working for me. *sad*
I am in dilemma now, should i change this maid?
My man says “this aunty looks a lot like a rough worker more than a maid”!
My elder boy says “why aunty looks so ugly?”
Their remarks are pestering me….A LOT!
I wish to get a new maid, but actually i think all the maids are same, maybe the problem is from me because i am poor in handling my maid!

I would like to update some of my blogs, but i think i better go to sleep now. Yeah, i am so deprived of good sleep, and have a pair of panda eyes now.
The house still in mess especially the living room, actually, the folded clothes have not been put inside the wardrobe and they are still a lot of unwashed plates and bowls in the kitchen basin, sigh, having the part time cleaner just like wasting my money because i still have to do everything by myself again at the end.
The part time cleaner mops the floor everyday, but she only mops the “visible floor” and never mop or sweep the floor under the table or sofa, alas, so ended i have to mop them again. Tired, tired, really tired!

I have just finished knitting a scarf for my little boy, okay, maybe not really a completed scarf as i still do not know how to bind off the scarf. I have planned to go back to the shop which sells yarns tomorrow and asked the lady to bind off for me. But…before i get it, my little boy had pulled out my needle again! Yeah, again, actually i had been knitting a same yarn for more than XX times, well, i couldn’t remember how many times already, alas, now i simply put the needle back, just hope the lady can “rescue” my scarf, otherwise it will waste my effort.
The maid was actually standing next to my boy, but her eyes were watching the telly instead of keeping her eyes on my boy. That’s not a first time she got caught, but she never learn from the mistake. Is the telly program really interesting? I do not know as i seldom watch telly. I think she has been given too much of freedom.
And just now, while having her lunch, she even took her bowl of noodle and enjoying it in front of the telly. I tell you, she simply thought that her boss was TRANSPARENT.

I feel really irritating to have a maid around, i know this is ridiculous as i still need her a lot. With her around, i can be worry-free to let my boys stay at home while i go out. But her busybody attitude just make my nerves go wild at times.
I am very into knitting lately, have been learning a lot of different knitting patterns from Youtube such as garter stitch, purl stitch, slip stitch and a lot more, although some skills still need time to be polished into more advance level. I really put my effort to learn those patterns and have been trying the patterns by using different yarns. But my busybody maid had continued knitting my scarf without knowing what patterns i was using. She just knitted with her limited knowledge about patterns, and she knitted my scarf when i was sleeping without notifying me. Gosh, i was darn angry when i saw my scarf, she had spoiled my created pattern and it goes my effort too.
Of course i didn’t scold her, but i think she could sense my angry flame was burning there, i really dislikes this, as a maid, i think she must know how to respect me, but she has always like never respected my instructions. There was one time i asked her to buy spinach for my boy, but she came back with lettuce, the reason was lettuce tastes better than spinach. Gosh, now i am her boss, then she should have listened to my order other than giving me such an irritated excuse!
Last Saturday she acted pretty overly, she was supposed to stay overnight on Saturday night, but she dared to leave my house with reason “since your family will dine outside, so i can go back now”, i was very angry and then i told her “you’re supposed to stay 4 nights a week, if you want to go back home as you liked then i will deduct your salary”, of course this threat works well all the time but you know, i really hate threatening her, because it sounded like i was an evil. I want to be an angel, but she keeps making me to be an evil.

Unbelievable, that’s really unbelievable that i have such a brainless maid. Sigh, i really out of idea how many times i should remind her not to give my little boy any food which has not been cored. In her mindset, she has never thought of “choking”, and her given excuse is “he is old enough so he knows how to spit the core out”. Gosh, he is just about 17 months old, so we as adult can simply trust the little kids’ ability? Did she ever hear a 4 yrs old girl got choked to death on just a jelly? So, we as adult should have supervised our kids rather than serving them something hazardous to their life, right?
Sigh, the maid just seems indispensable, but honestly, i really can’t stand her attitude anymore. She is like never attaching her brain while taking care of my boys as well as always absence of mind when doing house chores.

I feel very uneasy every time i see my maid, she has been doing a lot of things that annoying me so much. I am not sure whether this is due to my hormonal changes or what unknown nerves, i simply do not like her. I feel very irritating when she talks nonsense or when she forgets the things i wanted her to do. At first, i treated her very nice, or maybe i can say i never treated her like a maid, but day after day, she was like having her own comfort zone and getting lazier, the most serious happened was she asked me to clean the kitchen cabinet by myself. Gosh, then what for i need a maid? For making me angry? I really felt like sacking her immediately and that afternoon we had a terrible quarrel till my man asked us to stop. But, i didn’t settle the things like just stopped the quarrel, i then told her she can leave anytime as what i pay her definitely no proportional as what she has contributed for me. But the next day she still came and she looked more humble and more hardworking, perhaps she knew that now is economic downturn, in such a situation, she is hard to find a high pay job again. Actually she has improved a lot, but of course, sometimes she like a slacker. No one is perfect, so i didn’t expect much from her, i just hope she can shut her mouth as she likes to ask me how much of this or what for you bought this, this morning, she repeated those irritated sentences again, so without giving her a face, i scolded her immediately. You are a maid, don’t act like you’re my mother!

The maid was pretty funny this morning when i was busying to place the “cockroach houses” over the living room, kitchen and toilet. I was asked “is cockroach a poison?”, i assumed that she felt irritating when she was asked for cleaning the floor again. I just couldn’t believe my eyes as the back of sofas were full of dusts. Seemed like she has never moved the sofa out and mopped the underneath of sofa.
I don’t know is cockroach a poison, but i know it is dirty to have the roaches cross, and i believed the roaches would definitely leave some germs at the place when they had crossed over. So i don’t want to take risk as i afraid that the germs would harm my kids.
Hope the roaches eat the bait and disappear asap! I just hate Summer as the cockroach cohorts can be seen everywhere.

How i wished i can roar at her, she just getting too lazy recently…sigh, really not worth to pay high salary for her but can’t get what i am expected.
Like just now, it was a time that she supposed to wake the baby up, but, i was shocked when saw her co-sleeping with the baby. Gosh, i have been given her a lot of freedom as comparing other maids, she can take sleep at 10pm and only wakes up around 7am but left the house in messy. Though i knew it is impossible to keep the house in very clean manner due to having the kids around, at least she can clean the kitchen cabinet a bit rather than sleeping or even going down to chit-chat with those 3-8 aunties.
I really cannot stand her attitude anymore, i think i have to tell her some rules before she going too overly!
